Aftermarket coils

Anyone have good luck with aftermarket coils for the V8. I remember seeing someone talking about eight coils for $150.00. Can that be possible, or are they just junk. Team Ford has them at $43.00. thanks for the help.

I (as well as others) have used the $150 set (8) on ebay with excellent results.

The $150 coils do work but they are reman's or generic, definitely not OEM.

Only time will tell how long they will last. The seller does offer a 12 month warranty on them, you wont even get that through Ford.

There are several threads here regarding aftermarket coils. I am using Accel coils. To find out about this, read 'Land Speed LS' in the HP section.

Thanks cammerfe, that was quite a thread on high performance, the coil info was very good.
I guess if the Accel coils are good enough for you, I will take your advice. I checked out the price, about $200.00 for a V8.
Anything specal I need to know on install?

Ford dealers warrenty parts for at least 12 months or 12,000 miles
