well i wasnt going to start another thread but my last one got slightly derailed. any of you guys have a fastbag system or something similar? i need to replace my control arms and tie rods but i wasnt sure if i replaced these with OE parts, if id just be replacing them again for the aftermarket setup. any input?

Stack is going aftermarket on his Mark... it will use the stock suspension with aftermarket bags, lines, valves, compressor, tanks, and controller... expect pics in the coming weeks...

cool thats what i like to hear. stack, does everything pretty much bolt on or am i in for a pretty involved install?

LOL!!! Bolt on? Ya right! '

Dont you think that more people would have a fast bag setup if it was just a "bolt on" setup?

HAHAHAHAHAHA... Bolt in..

Not even close...

It will be pretty involved... should be a good time. Hopefully wiring the majority of it up next weekend... Then off to construct the bag mounts and figure out the travel issues with the front suspension

well i figured it wouldnt just bolt right in i just didnt if it would be realistic to try to do myself. looks like ill be looking for professional help lol

There is a company that makes bolt in front struts but if you want to pay 700 dollars for bags just keep the stockers! :D

I have seen both of those videos before...

I would love to talk to EITHER of them... but alas

Here is a break down of my set up
2 ViAir 380 Compressors
3/8 valves with 1/2 lines
RE6 bags
Easy Street Digital Air Controller
Can't remember if it is a 10 gallon or a 5 gallon tank

The set up it pretty straight forward and I don't have to mess around with switches with the digital set up...

Should work out...

More to come

BTW that 2nd set up is FAST! must be full 1/2-5/8-3/4 all the way through

I just drilled and tapped the factory bags, pretty straight forward

the stock air ride setup is still intact and functioning when the switch is on

though in the future I plan to go with aftermarket bags

I have most of the parts...

Wiring... Bags and a shock that can handle the travel are needed now :)
