Just wanted to know in advance before I take out my air ride if after coil conversion will I need to realign front? and if so then are there measures to take to avoid that?

It depends, as a preventative measure I would have it realigned. The air to coil is not going to be exact match to ride ht. So, that being said, I would have it re-looked at, if you do the coil conversion and take it to a shop, they should check to see if it needs it first before they start the alignment changes. So if it is in tolerance, then they should tell you and no money spent.

If all you did was change the springs, then no. You shouldn't need to an alignment unless you change the lower control arms or tie rod ends.

Any time you change ANYTHING in the suspension you should have it checked.

Not just the front. Due to the IRS you'll need a four wheel alignment. Will you notice a difference without having it aligned? Maybe, maybe not, but if you like your tires and want your car to handle properly have the car realigned. Be sure to ask for a before and after printout. Any quality shop will use a hunter aligner and they are capable of providing a before and after measurement printout, plus asking for before and after numbers keeps the tech from getting sloppy and throwing it in spec instead of dialing it in like he cares. Having to show you numbers encourages them to dial them in as close as possible since you'll be able to see their work on paper. Just my $0.02

Cool, I greatly appreciate all the good advice and info and I will surely keep it in mind to get everything checked out.
