ADDCO Front Sway Bar Collars

FWIW

I've seen a few posts recently about people that have ADDCO front sway bars, but not the locating collars.

I ran across THIS company that makes them, in various sizes and materials.

If you search for their part numbers on Amazon, there are quite few companies selling them.

Wonder what I would do with the remaining 4 pairs?
 
Well, ADDCO must think so, or I doubt they'd supply them with the bars.

I must have missed it. Looked like for 1.25" you could only buy them in 10's.

Of course it would be nice if they did supply them. Both Addco bars I bought for my Mark did not incluse them and the Addco bar I bought 6 years ago for my Supercoupe didnt come with any. :(

Every new bar I've bought, both for my SC's, and recently my LSC, came with them, direct from ADDCO.
 
ADDCO didn't give me :q:q:q:q. What do they do? I have never seen an aftermarket or a stock sway bar with collars. That money could be spent on hookers and weed instead of on something no one can say that you need them because(insert good reason here)
 
They keep the bar from moving side-to-side.

Just 'cause you've never seen them, doesn't mean they don't exist, the '99-'04 Cobra IRS rear bars have them from the factory.

Well I sent those :q:q:q:qers an email asking them what the :q:q:q:q they do and why I didn't get them with my bars. I marked my front one with a sharpie and it has never moved in the five years I have had it.
 
I know the Cobras did. I have invented new swear words trying to remove them. :lol:

I didnt buy my sway bar from Addco but it was drop shipped and the box was well sealed but there were no collars in there. You must just be lucky.
Do you have the 1.25" bar?

Yes, that's it in the pic above. I also got collars when I bought 1 3/8" bars for my SC's. That's what started this, I need some replacements for my SC, they're rusted to :q:q:q:q. This time I'm going to buy some plastic, aluminum or stainless steel collars.

All of mine were drop-shipped as well.
 
Is it two part? I hate to try and remove a bracket to slide that chit on. :(
I will call Addco on Monday and see if they can send me some.

The sway bar made a very noticable diffrence in the turns but if it can get even better then so be it.
 
I did a quick search and you can buy them cheap all over. Didn't see the 1 3/8 however. I doubt ADDCO is gonna give them to us. BTW has anyone seen the bull:q:q:q:q photoshopped BMW on the website. That body roll is the most bogus :q:q:q:q I have ever seen.

Yes, they're two-piece.

Yes, I was making sure they knew, but I edited it out of my post at the same time you quoted it as it looked like philly mentioned the fronts earlier. :)
When I had trouble with the fit of my bars, Addco was great in helping me.
 
Hey dick! Stop being a dumb ass! Yes I can read and you know damn :q:q:q:qing well I clicked the link. I was asking about the ones that supposedly come with the sway bar.

Just cause the other ones are two piece didn't mean the Addco ones were. If they were then I would just buy the two part ones. But now I see they are two piece so it dont matter.
Not sure it will make any difference though.

The link in my first post was the manufacturer's web site, and I said to get the p/n's and search Amazon.

Then I went back and spoon-fed you the second link, since you were having trouble with the concept. :)

Easy, or I'll stop trying to help......

I thought you were asking about the one's I posted, but, yes, the ADDCO supplied collars are two-piece as well.
