Acceleration Issues/intermitten bad idle.

My 1995 mark 8 the last few days has not been accelerating very well.
Its all started one day when I went to restart the car and it bogged out and died. Restarted it again revved it up a few and went home. Its just kind of sputtery. If you step on it it will blow it self out and be fine for a while. I did the tps a while back, Clogged Cat Convertor im thinking. It looks real bad from the outside. I sprayed out the throttle body, cleaned the K&N etc. Still doing it. Fuel is getting there fine. Sound like a Convertor?

You should have a CE light. It'll be hard to diagnose without having the codes checked.
