Ac question

What's it mean when I come to a red light and the ac kinda stops cooling but starts working fine again when I get moving forward.

What year is your LS? If it's a 2000 to 2002, then it probably means that your hydraulic engine fan isn't working correctly (usually the speed actuator).

So, things to check.
Is the electric fan operating when the car is at idle and the AC is on?
What is the high side AC pressure at idle? Note that if it is low, the fan won't go to higher speed.

Low fan but high pressure = fan problem.
Low (high side) pressure = low refrigerant (probably not since it is cooling above idle), bad compressor (possibly the scroll control valve), or bad expansion valve.
Getting the low side pressure would mostly narrow it down to which of these three it is.
