Got an 05 v8 Sport. Replaced the DCCV which was shorting out and blowing fuses...dropped car at shop to get ac recharged....now when I hit the ac button i get a scraping noise from the dash that seems to be affected my engine speed. Ac is holding charge but still not blowing cold. I'm also getting the 12 65 or 65 12 fault that is a mistake from what ive searched. Any help would be appreciated!

Near field coil is weak or the clutch is out of spec. Having the same problem on my 02 v8 it's best to just replace the compressor. I got a reman one from rock auto for 185 shop is charging me 240 to put it on and recharge system.

If the sound is from the dash and not under the hood, it's not the clutch, it's the expansion valve. The expansion valve will make a hissing noise when the refrigerant charge level is wrong. It's also possible that your expansion valve is bad or clogged. What are your high side and low side pressures (fan on high, engine idling) at what outside temperature? What's the temperature of the air coming out of the vents?

Ignore the 1265, it's an invalid code for the gen II.
