About to order some tips

I'm about to order some tips for the exhaust I bought and I have a quick question. I see the 4" OD MagnaFlow tips come in two different lengths. Does it matter which one I get? I'd like them to sit flush with the rear valance and not stick out way past the bumper....

I dont think it will matter much. The 4.5 inch ones look really small though so I wouldn't get those. You can just push the tip back in more on the muffler if it doesn't sit close enough for you
 
Also depends where the shop mounts the little hook, but it can all be arranged the way you want it at the shop. Just make sure you tell them how you want them before they weld them on
 
With that center outlet, you are going to have to do bumper cutouts. And if they are too short, they will just add pipe.. But I'm sure you already knew that.. :wink:
 
You should do the bumper cutouts anyways. They look schweet.

As far as the center outlet, I believe magnaflows are reversible. Just use the center as the inlet.
 
I have the 35164s on the stock exhaust. They stick out hair past the cutout but not further then the actual bumper goes. IMHO the length is perfct how they are but if I were to add mufflers I would tuck them up a little more. Don't have pics at work.
 
I think they should stick out a little. But that's just my taste:

I gotta get me some mufflers now lol and do the bumper cutouts cuz that sh*t looks gewd
