About to buy a Mark VIII, but which generation?

You gott decide which you would rather have, more luxury or more sport.

Personally, as president of club 16, I say get one of each.

Stock for stock, the gen1 is faster. But a few mods and the gen 2 will be faster with a more luxurious ride (interior).

I say get whatever body style you like the best and make it fast.

Prez if the 16 club what if you have 3... Is there a 24 club LOL...

Gen I for more fun ... Gen II for more lux... Personally Gen I is my fav..

I wouldn't pay over $2500 for a Gen I and Not over $4500 for a Gen II

Just remember, when people say the Gen 1's are faster, we are talking a pretty small difference. I do agree that you will be happy with either choice.

Mostly personal preference. As you see there are people that lean towrads one or the other. Personally I like the look of the Gen2s more.
