I just bought a 2005 Lincoln LS V8 with 55,000. When I bought it, it was nearly flawless, but it seems to have developed a slight "ticking" sound if you will.
The sound is only present at a certain "SMALL" level of RPM reached, and throttle given. When I slow down to a stop, the sound is definently present for a short second.
To investigate my claim, I put my car in park, and slightly accelerated the gas until the noise was at a constant.
I will try and record a video soon, and post it, along with the RPM it is on.
But does anyone have any clear suggestions?
