A little custom interior work

Took me an hour to find it the first time and another hour to find it again to post my question because wasn't smart enought the first time. LOTS OF USING THE SEARCH
Anyways I figured it out. Just might have to fabricate a little tool to get them off. Hopefully have it all done apart tonight. The long toggle ones (for the heat up and down and the fan speed) are super easy to remove. I have a spare control that was broken that I saved the face plate from for this very reason. I broke 2 off already but there is lots more. lol Once I can can do it with out breaking them I will take the good one apart.

That really looks stupid, even that bumper grille:confused: .

My wife brought home tons of finger nail polish like that from work to toss in our dumpster of our old apartment. It sat in her store for so long cause no one wanted to buy it it was no longer in the system so it was trash.

So what's the trick to remove the other buttons? I was investigating doing the same thing. My HVAC faceplate is scratched up.

the paint color looks ok...but just doesn't really match the rest of the cars interior color..that's just me..

Well I painted the door behind the door handle yestarday to see what it is going to look like. I am going to drive it a around for a little bit to see how I like it. Before I paint everything else to match or go back to black. (heater vent above radio, radio faceplate, and climate control face plate)

I am going for the 2003 oem look NOT custom painted interior look.

all done I ended up doing the shifter area also just because it had some scratches before. Took me about 5 hours to do it all. They only thing I never took apart was the climate control area. I just removed 2 buttons and the little lights above the buttons and masked the rest. Let me know if you think it looks the same as the 03-06.

Yep looks good! For some reason when I saw the door handles, they looked like the exterior color.

looks real nice, i think you shoud have painted out the wood grain on the bottom by the heated seat/ash tray. That's what i hate the most on my car. I'll post when i'm done. I'll post when i'm done. it might actualy look worse.
