Well my car is a 94 Mark. I have trans fluid puddles on the floor after the car is parked for a while. The trans fluid level is perfect as is the power steering fluid. What else could it be? I hope to actually have the car on a lift this week to check.
I had the car running and hood up and I hear like a plastic rattle or a grinding sound (sorry hard to explain) comming from the intake area. Any suggestions?

thanks all

I would suggest you crawl under your car and take a look for yourself. There are many different possible places, but it wouldn't help you to know them because you would still have to look to find them, when you could've just looked in the first place.

Off the top of my head, pan gasket, output shaft seal, tc seal/main front seal, breather, dipstick tube, shift linkage inputs?, a cracked case.

Dipstick is good - Rich is here!

Figure out what it is drippin by where it is drippin, if not direct drip, check out the drip a little closer, color, texture and if that does not help, put some sheets of the sunday paper under there and get a sample and do a little detective work ;)

dunno about the grind n rattle (lol well, yeah I do but that is a different forum!), might want to check the box make sure it is tight, and the rest of the assembly.

Good Luck HOTTIE!!!
