ok my marks been running i think 2 weeks now and im tired of being nice to it because i am missing 1 sud from every tire except one which only has 3 studs...yes i said 3 studs...rear left tire to be exact. anyway no part stores around here have studs for the mark VIII's front or rear. so what r my choices on getting new studs for my mark and i hope no one says go to a junk yard cuz its too old outside for that stuff right now.

i have a constant chirp from my drivers side tire, at first i figured it to be a warped rotor but since i have no radio in my mark...i get to listen to it more than most ever would. my dad said it could be the wheel bearing going out. the chirping goes away when i hit the brakes, when i go over small bumps and various other times but it always returns. any ideas?

well ever since i put the engine and tranny in my message center keeps telling me i got low coolant, which i know is not true because my overflow tank is where it should be and the system is full. so where is the sensor for that?

do all air bags squeak or make noise or am i hearing it cuz i dont have a radio?
and i dont mean the pump.

any tips on a leaking windshield only happens on the passenger side...so it dont effect me but still unsightly in a mark none the less.

how hard is it to get the valve covers off these cars ive tried and i cant do it, the valve cover gets pinched between the strut tower and the cam gear i really need one side off to replace the gasket cuz it got pinched somehow and now leaks oil onto the manifold...

thank you all

Steven

When looking for longer studs I did find stores that had our sizes available, keep looking or see if you can buy whole new hub assemblies from Ford or elsewhere, they will come with studs...

It might be a warped rotor or your caliper is not disengaging and your pads are running against your rotor.pull your brakes apart and lube your slids and sand your pads, if still good, and hit the rotors with 40 to 80 grit sand paper to remove any particals

You can get the valve covers off I've done it. The drivers side gets tight against the brake lines going into the master cylinder but with the right angle and a firm tug it comes out.
