I need to take mine out because i have tons of moisture in them and it drives me insane. but when i do that i figure i'd paint my bezels and install some angel eyes. onto the questions..
how tough is it to find the right color for the bezels? I have a forest green LS.. its kinda a rarer color it seems.
also does anyone have pictures of the difference between the gray and black sealant? I think mine's faded black, but I can't tell, maybe its gray... before I undertake this adventure i'd like to know otherwise i'd just go get the aftermarket ebay ones..

There would be no doubt as to which color sealant you have. The grey is a silver color. very light.

As for the paint, go to a reputable body shop. They should be able to mix you up a couple little jars of touchup for relatively cheap. Then put that in a hobby air spray gun, and you're set.

poop. can you tell without taking the light out? cuz i've only briefly looked at it.. without taking out the light. maybe i'm looking in the wrong area (being hopeful)

Yes, you can tell without removing the light. Open your hood, and look at the black part of the housing. There are 3 holes along the top. Each of those 3 holes should have glue protruding out of it. That's the easiest spot to tell what color glue you have.

+1, the gray is easy to spot. if you're having 2nd thoughts then more than likely you have the black ones. they can still be opened though
