I searched, but didn't find anyone's A/C problem to match mine. I was driving the wife's car last night and after getting gas, I turned the A/C on and noticed that I felt warm air blowing on my feet. Then, I noticed that the two side vents by the doors were blowing warm air, along with the rear vents. The middle ones were blowing "colder" air, but not cold by any means. We went into the hospital for a while and when we came out, everything was fine and was blowing as cold as can be. I just read the thread about the DCCV, but that is different than this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, it's supposed to be 105 tomorrow and I hate to put my wife and 1-1/2 old son in the car after sitting for 8 hours in the sun. Thanks in advance.

was probably just hot out and you gotta get the rpm's up to get that compressor really moving. doesn't sound like an issue

I hope you're right, but I was cruising at about 40+ for a minute or two and it never cooled down a bit. We'll just keep an eye on it I guess.

well I would check the refridgerant charge level, that the front condenser is not blocked and that the engine cooling fan is working properly.

Any one of these issues could have reduced your systems ability to cool air.
remember the center registers are always capable of putting out the coolest air since they have the shortest distance from the evaporator core to the cabin.

As for the heat, use the remote to open all the windows and sunroof before you get in the car, start the car up and when the ac kicks override the fan to max and the turn off the recirculation for couple of minutes.

As soon as you feel it start to get cool at the register, close the windows and start driving. then in a couple of minutes later turn on the recirculation.
