okay,my air conditioning is blowing hot air on my 96. the high pressure line is cold and sweating the other is warm the compressor cycles like normal. it worked perfect. and i didn't drive it for a couple months and now just hot air. does a 96 have a blend door? i thought they didn't. the fan blows good. any ideas are appreciated

yes. when it gets hot in the car in the summer the door expands and the housing doesn't, the electric motor tries to open it and snap no more blend door. o and if your compressor is cycling on and off back and fourth, on max ac you have a low charge my friend

does the Gen 1 have the blend door? i was under the impression only the gen2 had that issue. it may be the 96 is different,just like obd11.

even my 97 conti had a similar issue. if you use the search function it will answer all your questions. it may not be the lever itself
