First time turning the a/c on since getting the car and it blows cool air.. I drove for a while thinking maybe it will get cold.. It never got cold!! It felt better outside then i did in the car! The compresser comes on and says on so im thinking that its full of freon.. What could be the problem?? The dashboard display reads ok and a/c filter is clean...

Well you can have an issue with your condenser coil stopped up.. That can cause high head pressure and it will not cool like it should. As for the comp staying on that could be a another issue as well the low pressure switch could be stuck close and it can run with 0 freon in it. If it was me I would check to see if the condenser coil is pretty dirty and / or the fan is not coming on with the AC.

Thanks! I'll look into that 2morrow

Best thing to do is get someone with a set of gages and see what its running...

134A should be around 40psi on the suction and maybe 200psi + (depending on the outside temp) or so on the discharge one easy way to tell is if you can get to the Liquid line if its really hot it can mean low freon or stopped up coil and its not condensing the freon into a liquid ... its hard to figure out your issue over a forum but best bet is to get a set of gages on it and go from there.
