Blower on high?
What is the exterior temperature?
What is the high side pressure?
What is the low side pressure?
I hope that you have R-134a Suva refrigerant in and not R-12 (Freon) refrigerant.
There are basically three things that would cause the AC to cycle off:
1. Evaporator temperature too low - Interior air-flow is blocked or evap temperature sensor is failing.
2. Hi-side pressure too high - System is overcharged, airflow through the condenser is blocked or engine fan failed, clog in system, maybe at expansion valve.
3. Engine problem - engine is overheating, badly misfiring, or can't hold a good idle speed.
Additionally to those items, low refrigerant pressure will prevent the compressor from turning on.
Note that is normal for the compressor to cycle if the cooling demand is very low.
