A/C Compressor locked up on me???

You didn't need to remove the lines or even loosen the compressor to do the clutch on the FS10 our cars have...
Take the serp belt off, undo the little bolt on the center nose of the compessor (8mm iirc), pull clutch off, take out snap ring holding pulley on, slid pulley off (watch you don't lose any shims in there), get a puller for the field coil and pull it off...
Use a puller to pull the new field coil on, install pulley, snap ring, shim(s), clutch and bolt, check the air gap and adjust if needed, put belt back on and go (its a good idea to cycle a new clutch on/off 15-20x at idle to burnish it in so it grabs better)...

well i would have loved to do it that way,but it just didnt happen like that.

I had to take it loose and angle the front of it down towards the ground and put my 1853 pull tool on it (it was my grandpas) And pull the coil thing off.

The pull tool doesn't put them back on,so i had to beat it on...No worries, its on as straight as it can be.
I found out today that i have a leak...so I'm changing out the O-rings sometime soon. As for now its too freakin cold...yes even in Louisiana....;)
