99 Conti Seat Heater

Fellow Continental Lovers, I'm trying to install seat heaters on my 1999 Continental. I bought the original controls from eBay, that go under the climate control unit, and have two questions:
1) what type of seat heating pads do I need that work with the original controls?
2) How do I install the controls?

You could probably get away with aftermarket pads and just find a wiring diagram of the heater control to manually wire it up.

To install the pads, you're going to need to take off the seat bottom and back and then reinstall. You'll need hog rings to reinstall.

My car came OEM equipped with heated seats, so I didn't have this problem, but this is the basics.

If you look on Ebay, you should be able to find the generic pads for the seats.

There should be a little "cubby" under the Climate Control unit. You'll need to take that "cubby" out and the swap it for the heated seat control unit.
