New here and i did a search. My keypad isnt lighting up now. It did a couple days ago. Is there a bulb that may have burned out? Interior lights all come on. Can lock and unlock doors, pop trunk etc so it works. Just not lighting up now. These cars have quirks for sure.

All the other Ford/Lincoln/Mercury keypads that I have seen (including 1994-2006) use LEDs soldered onto the PCB that has the switch contacts. You probably need to replace the whole assembly.

My guess would be that the keypad rubber has started to split and is letting water get to the PCB. Eventually, the whole thing will fail. At least, that what happened to one of mine (99 Grand Marquis, I think).
