I just turned 127k miles on mine, just now starting to have some issues that need looking into. If anyone can get better pricing on these items, let me know as I haven't bought them yet. Any locals to Chicago Burbs wanna help with the work, I'm pathetic and have no mechanically inclined friends in the area.
Tie Rod ends need replaced ($54 each locally)
Front Wheel Hub assemblies need replaced ($55 each locally)
Rear Shocks
Transmission is just now starting to shudder, am having the fluid flushed and replaced with MercV at Lincoln Stealership 8/22 $85
Tune up before winter including Cooling flush
Brakes need done
I NEED a Passenger Side mirror and still cannot find one, preferrably black =)
I drive 100 miles a day in this car, bought it in January with 109k on it, have gotten 4 oil changes, did the Blend Door, replaced the tires and haven't had an issue. I LOVE THIS CAR!!! Thanks LVC for making my Mark VIII ownership a pleasant one!!!!
