It's with much regret I must put my Mark up for sale. I've owned it since August so I don't know it's prior history but it's apparent the car was well maintained, garaged, and cared for. Bought with 88K miles, now has 95K and is my daily driver. Exterior is the rare 1 year only Med Charcoal Green with tan interior. Body is almost perfect, has very small dent in right rear wheel well but no door dings at all. Paint still in great shape, shines up real nice. Interior has been well cared for, usual front seat wear, all window buttons intact and cupholder NOT broken. New parts since I bought it: plugs, air filter, fuel filter, Mobil 1 oil, Traction T/A's in front, Dunlop Graspics in back, right front hub and bearing, front rotors, complete headlamp assemblies including Hid bulbs, complete trans fluid change (mercon V) and filter. Engine is very strong and trans is still nice and tight with all the 98 upgrades. There are absolutely no fluid leaks, underneath is perfectly dry. Air suspension still intact and working flawlessly. Front suspension has minor rattle but is no worse than when I bought it,ball joints checked and are not loose. Blend door actuator works well but the grey lever the actuator links goes to is snapped at the bottom. I have the lever rigged closed so the heat works well and is adjustable through the controls. I have a post on the subject and the lever is replaceable without pulling the dash, I have the new lever. Windows are freshly tinted (20%) and the air silencer is yanked. Other than that, car is totally stock and unmolested. Priced at a reasonable $5500, bank still "owns" car but lien release available immediately upon payoff (local bank). Car located 1 hour north of NYC.

Sorry for the long thread, but I believe in full disclosure.

Why are you selling? Interested in a trade for a custom 89 Mark VII Bullitt? ;)

I'm a Parts Mgr in a Toyota dealer and the new GM would like me to drive a new Toyota demo instead of recieving a demo allowance, so the Mark must go. Sorry, I have no use for your VII.

Alright guys, let's try this: first $4750 firm takes this car home. At least a few of you are gonna be kickin yourselves for letting this one get away. You're not going to find a nicer 98 for the money. I need to sell in the next two weeks or the car is going to a wholesaler.

My last shot at this, really need to sell this car. Maybe some pics would help to entice:

Fresh 20% tint all around.

Yes the neon still works.

As you can see the interior is very nice!
This car has already been gone over and all general maintenance items done. I feel the price is more than fair and you know that you're buying a car from an enthusiast that cares about his ride. One of you guys must want this car!!

I love that car, man. How long do I have to sell my car before this one slips away?

Thanks for the compliment. I will be selling to the first one with the cash. Sorry, can't hold it for you but you're exactly the kind of guy I want my ride to go to. C'mon, sell that VII and move up to DOHC power!!

I am doing the best I can. It's tough with the fact that I still haven't gotten Chrissy's car on the road yet, so the two of us only have one car. You had mentioned sending the car to wholesale if it doesn't sell...what's that deadline?

I was working on that last week and the numbers were not good enough. I refuse to give the car away. I still have a few avenues to explore, but as I said before I would much rather sell it to someone who will appreciate the car and the work I've put in it. I guess right now I don't have a deadline, just a "soon as possible".

If I had the money and way to get it here I'd buy it. It looks like a very nice car. I found one similer to it at a local lot and may look into that. Reason is I need something I can make payments on right now. Good luck, I'm sure someone will buy it.
