I've done my search duty through 20 pages and cannot find the answer. My washer pump works but the fluid is coming out behind the DRIVERS side front wheel. I pulled the cowling off and the hose is broken off close to the drivers side nozzle. There is nothing connected to the nozzle supply stub. In my newly purchased 1998 Mark VIII Ford shop manual (got it for $10), it shows the source coming up the passenger side, as do all the posts I've seen on my search. They also say a broken/disconnected hose will result in water on the ground on the PASSENGER side. I'm guessing there is a "tee" connected to the hose from the pump that has fallen down behind the drivers side wheel liner? Running out of time to work on this today, but was hoping someone had been there/done that? Just wanted to make sure before I pull the wheel and fender liner I can access that hose. Some posts suggest following the hose from the pump, but that pump is virtually invisible.

I got used to working on the Miata with only 3 moving parts!

The pump is mounted at the bottom of the reservoir in front of the radiator and the feed line runs through the driver's fender. You'll see it if you remove the driver's side fender liner. Between the green lines in the attached picture.

Not sure why, but almost 2 feet of the washer hose was missing. Had some blue sililcone hose from the Miata that worked great. My first dirty hands on the Mark. Felt good. Squirters work great. Air shock looks great! Fairly clean, no wrinkles, very clean underneath the car that I could see. Found almost new brake pads. Sprayed and prayed the ABS sensor on right front wheel. Real pleased with how clean everything is!
