So i dont have enough to buy a full exhaust system right now so i was thinking of at least buying mufflers + tips for it to give it a nice look and a more meaner sound rather than stock. Im debating between mufflers + tips from supercoupeperformance or lincolnmotorsport

I heard SCP had issues of not sounding mean or aggresive rather a raspy sounding, they are a little bit cheaper than lincolnmotorsport anyone have ideas. Im leaning towards lincolnmotorsport they look nicer and havent heard anything bad also was going to pick up torque chamber from lincolnmotorsport.

i just had a local exhaust shop run straight pipes from the third cat (which they were too chicken:q:q:q:q too cut out) for 300 and it sounds realllllllly badass, and now the car sounds way faster and meaner than it really is. its not overly loud with the third cat, but when i do delete it, ill have some mufflers put on.

I'd go with lms. Based on what i've heard on here, scp is no bueno.

I have the SCP mufflers and I like them. I would have bought Geno's, but at the time SCP had a better deal. I still don't regret buying them, but with the deal being offered here, I would get the LMS mufflers. They do sound good.

OK great thanks for the business. I have a skid of Mufflers that will be heading our way this week you can reserve a set from the newest batch!!

If you want to go cheap you can just put straight pipe instead of mufflers. If you can deal with some drone under 3000rpm it sounds decent in the car otherwise and I have had a few people tell me how good the car sounds.

Geno's mufflers are a good deal at that price though.

I never liked the sound of no muffler. Sounds a lot like a cheap old redneck truck to me. I bought a set of 2.5 prebent pipes off ebay (which, by the way, were not even close to perfectly bent even though they were advertised to be compatible) and modified them to fit correctly with a pair of Flowmaster 40's I had laying around from my Navigator years past. Total cost, Pipes $99 shipped, Flows-In hand FREEBIE!, a buddy to help me out that night, Case of Miller lite!

In all seriousness though, I've never liked the sound of the straight through muffler design, like the way Magnaflow is made. I find it to be to raspy for my tastes. Flowmaster tends to have a deeper, throatier tone, and sounds more like the days of the pushrod.
