Hey guys,
I was under the impression that these had 4 wheel air bag suspension but in my research I've read that only the rear are this type and the fronts normal springs and that they stopped the 4 wheel systems a few years earlier than 98.
Could I get some one to clarify which it is ?

Thanks

The 98 Conti has all four electric suspension and with the electric controlled shocks in the rear are also the air bags. The front is electric ride control struts. So, when you select the ride from firm, plush and normal they all do something. The air bags give a little cush in the rear for that added feel.

Stopped after 1996.

Are ya sure? I have seen some comments on this site from people with Connies up to 2002 with air suspension. I'm pretty sure all wrong-wheel-drive Continentals had air suspension at all four corners until it went out of production in '02. I could be wrong, I don't know a lot about the FWD Connies.

Ha.....this is exactly what I am talking about !!
One person seems pretty sure about it and someone else chimes in with a totally different answer.

Anyways thanks for the answer(s)

:D:rolleyes:
