i want to be able to use a sniper on my 95 is there anyway one can adapt the newer gen2 computer in my 95? i could get a chip but i might not like the parameters. thanks.

Not even a remote chance. Well, maybe not remote if you completely gut every wire out of a 98 and put it into the 95. Worth it? No.

Lonnie at BOC put an obd2 processor in his 95 mark 8..
would it be worth the trouble, for a tuning solution? doubtful.

And.. you had better be "very familiar" with BOTH the EEC IV in the 95 AND the obd2 in the 98 before something like this would even be considered.

If your looking for a tuning solution for your EEC 4 95, I'm sure you've considered the lack of datalogging for EEC 4 cars?

The ONLY tuning solution that includes datalogging EEC 4 cars that is "currently available" is Tweecer found at www.tweecer.com

SCT has a good software package for EEC IV but with no datalogging solution I found it very difficult {without thousands of dragstrip passes) to determine if the changes were "good or bad".

I still have the software for my 95 DZa1 processor and the chip, and burner.. but I still use the chip and burner on my 98.

While there are alot of different parameters different between EEC 4 and OBD2, for the most part everything you would want PLUS a whole lot more is included with the SCT software.

Believe me, the amount of things you can change is literally "mind boggling".

The SCT package for EEC 4 runs around 900.00 {but still doesnt datalog)
The tweecer stuff that does datalog is 650ish.
