other than a fancy steering wheel and shifter and also 2 tone interior is there anything mechanically different than a LSC of the same year?

I found a nice 98 that I want to check out with 88k miles pearl for 5k what do you think? looks mint

I took your guys advise and passed up that 97 LSC

Collectors edition cars come in special paint colors that are one of a kind, also the interior is 2 tone leather with a wood shift lever and steering wheel. They are numbered inside the drivers door jam is the sticker.
Plus they are decked out with all options.

They are nice and worth more for the consumer but the differences end there to a 98 lsc. But a 97 lsc vs a 98 lsc, there a many differences

97 vs 98 LSC I thought the only diff was a tranny change in 98? what else was done in 98?

98.... different ABS sensors, no alternator cover, black door latches, ummm....

I personally think a CE is worth a little bit more than another LSC in the same condition... but not a ton more....

the steering wheel looks way better on the 98's The 97's had the intech crossover tube cover. hmm let me think of what else..

About all it's worth is Hey I got a CE .... Good boy ... way to go ... Nice ....

As for anything else ... not much to make it worth a ton more ... My opinion ... Just bragging rights....

only if you have your last name in illegible calligraphy font plastered on your rear window.

I would look more for color combo then a CE.

Its all in taste.

Some interior colors I can't stand, some can't stand the color of my cars interor.

I would take a Blk/Blk LSC all day over any CE.

Is it true that the CE stickers were applied to CE cars randomly and not in production order?

If so, that's a pretty dumb detail oversight by Ford.

Agree with the nut. Some colors are cool and desirable, whilst others are horrid.

lol...i wish they made a ce in black/black...instead i just bought a blk/blk lsc.

I also heard the same about the numbers, not in order...doesnt make sense but i have heard that.

Fwiw, my late model 97 has all the 98 stuff except for tranny (i guess) and black door latch grabbers.

Also, 98 had cooler speaker covers....mine has one of each...lol

I paid $4000 for mine on a Mark that was probably worth $3500.... but the $500 extra was worth it to me.
