Hi, a simple search for F3LF-12B577-AH yeilded a big surprize but availible from AutoECM.for $$$.00 for a refurbished unit. This beast of a fan sits at Number 1 for airflow at around 4600CFM for all oem fans. What are the diffences between
( F3LF-12B577 )-AG & AH units? I would ask AutoECM and/or Spal if they have any seggustions to improve the survibavilty .i am shocked this controller wasn't sporting a major heat sink in the air stream Spal make brushed and brushless fans.
I had this fan motor ( what a ROAR! )in my 04LS for a short time till funds permitted for a replacement. Delta PAG makes brushless fans and components also. I read brushless fan motors uae alot less current than brushed motors. One practice i learned was to lightly coat the high current connectors with silver paste to reduce the resistance/heat at the contacts. If room permitted, a parrelel fan system to activate before the oem system does.
