I bought an 89 deville with 110,000 miles for $350.00 brand new radiator, alternator, brakes, and tires. The only problem with it is slipping in 2 nd and 3rd. I knew it had this problem when i bought it but it was 2 quarts low on Trans fluid but what was in it was clean so i figured the kid i got it from didn't know w hat he was talking about. Filled with fluid now still doing the same thing and getting the code E39 torque converter clutch solenoid. Trying to see if anyone has detailed info maybe with pictures also showing the location of the solenoid and how to replace out.
