Im so pissed.. So we spent all night putting the used tranny in.. cracnked it up everything LOOKED good then i started noticing the noise.. FREAKING TORQUE CONVERTER! I JUST REPLACED IN THE OLD ONE! So Now it moves but now it has the torque converter noise now and sometimes when you come to a full stop it dont wwants to take a second to get in gear!!!

Oh NO!!!!!!! That sucks!! My old Mustang went through automatics like tanks of gas on my F150 so I know how you feel!! I rebuilt the trans once only to have the torque converter shread a few thousand miles later. See if your buddy will still do the trade...

Are you sure there's enough ATF in it?

transmissions low on fluid can get noisy and not go into gear.
check your levels.
