http://www.facebook.com/album.php?i...72917924863.30694.100000564672893&theaterwell, after a fender bender that quickly escalated out of control, she's home from the paint shop/my uncle's house. here's a pic, still dirty, without mouldings, and with the stock wheels, but it looks like a car again. I don't post on this forum much, even though i've been a member for a long time, but I'll try and keep you guys updated as she's re-born. Here's a quick rundown of how she sits so far:
-2001 V8 sport 118,xxx miles, born silver birch metallic, owned by me since 10/20/2006 @61,711 miles
-summit racing hot rod black paint, including jambs
-gen 2 LSE front bumper (newly installed)
-spectre cone filter with billet MAF adapter
-magnaflow mufflers with resonator delete
-trac-loc diff with stock gear ratio
-optima yellow top
-18" stern st11 wheels, black face/polished lip (in garage waiting to be installed)
-infinity reference 6x8 door speakers, 1- 15" kicker L7 powered by an ARC audio xxk1500, all fed from stock 6 disc head unit (for now)

coming soon:
-sprint lowering springs (I think I found a place that has a set sitting around, they'll tell me for sure on monday)
-5% tint on all glass except windshield
-ALPINE double din touchscreen and matching ARC xxk4050 amp
-custom trunk layout (have materials, just need some time and motivation lol)
-6000k hids and led foglights

future plans:
-gen 2 lse grille and headlights
-paint rockers and rear valance (shouldn't have let my uncle talk me out of it)
-headrest lcd screens
-suede headliner

thanks bro, i noticed as well, can't figure out why, so I added a link to my facebook page.

thanks, I'm actually a land rover technician apprentice, and this was my first go at body work. way too much project for a first go around, but I got it done. It's actually a satin, which is like a matte with a slight sheen to it, almost like matte with armor all on it if it makes sense.

I know what a Satin is.. :p

Yea, I tried at some body work.. I was really good at body work, primer, and base color.. The clear, I SUCK.. LR tech ehh.. I was going to become a BMW tech but ended up taking the route of becoming an Electrical Lineman..

I did everything but spray the paint. probably 120+ hours of my labor into the whole project. Me being so picky didn't help the cause either. At one point I was ready to part the car out and cut my losses, but I'm glad I saw it through. LR is pretty cool, I've only been working on them for like 2 months, but I like it a lot.

looks like it's not working, could someone kindly tell me how to post a pic saved on my computer?

No Facebook here either. Paint looks great though. I like the satin finish. Tint and anthracite wheels would finish off the look in my opinion.
