can u connect the factory 6 cd changer to an aftermarket stereo has anybody done this

Are you talking about the 6cd in the glove box? or in the radio itself?

Glove box is possible, there are some aftermarket harnesses that can use the ford CD changers.

i have seen harness to retain factory DVD players with aftermarket headunits but i have not seen one for CD changers.

The factory radio is stereo. Do you mean an amp? Then yes, I did it years ago. You will need plenty of speaker wire, or an RCA converter.

no i think he wants to switch out his factory radio with an aftermarket one and still have the factory CD changer hooked up

My dad got an aftermarket head unit in our old Expedition. 6cd in the center console. It was like a $100 part or something but it did work. This was also like 10 years ago.

well i got me an soundstream 7 inch tv but i was wondering if the 6 cd changer thats in the glove box will connect to that after market stereo
