Valve Body - All Original (Just a matter of time before the 4-3 Pre Stroke Spring breaks)

I'm replacing the Solenoid Pack (Hard shifting P-R, R-D, P-D) with a new one and thought it would be a good time to do some replacement parts on the Valve Body at the same time. I've come across two shift kits and I don't know which would be better to install:

TransGo's Sk 5R55W Shift Kit

Superior's The 5R55W/N/S kit

(or)

Do I just replace the S1-S6 Springs (from Sonnax)

Looking for knowledge on the above items..I researched it, but couldn't find any comparison on the two shift kits.

P.S.
I just recently register but have been reading all the posts for about a month now and have gained a great deal of knowledge from everyone here. I've checkout a few other forums, but this forum is, by far, the most knowledgeable and experienced forum out there. Through this forum, I have been able to troubleshoot and repair a number of items (COPs, Valve Cover Gaskets, and Pinpoint other issues like hard shifting problems & known transmission problems). Thank you everyone..

I bought the TransGo kit but haven't installed it (4 years waiting so far...................). Given the kit contents I'd stick with TransGo. The Superior seems focused on cooling flow, which I don't think is necessary with the LS.
Josh installed the TransGo kit years ago and was pleased with it. It is best paired with a engine/tranny tune.

Josh,

Thanks for your reply. Could you give me some insight on why you would do the TransGo. I understand a lot of people choose the TransGo, but don't really understand why TransGo instead of Superior (cost maybe?).

Oddbal,

Thanks for the info, that's what I needed to know.

4 years waiting..lol..Yeah it's one of those projects you put off until you have to do it.
