Close enough...I'm giving my opinion on a trans swap on a MarkVIII. Some my have found my opinion useful, if you didn't, just read on past it.

I'm not going to start my own thread for my opinion on THIS topic.

..after I made a comment on the t-56 and then you both proceeded to get into prices which had nothing to do with my point/statement. ..So, I specified not to compare built to non built prices, which is what my eyes told my brain you were trying to do to contradict my statement which, again, had nothing to do with prices. I'm not trying to argue, just giving input that dollar for dollar along with the benefits I think you're better off with the T-56. Nobody here designed the T-45, I'm not trying to step on toes.

5000 dollar 600 plus hp terminators is something I've said nothing about. With labor you can have a 700 rwhp terminator for less than 3 unless half your money is in labor.

I posted this before I had the PM convo with you. I did'nt edit it, because it would have raised eyebrows as to what is going on. I really have no problem with you or your ideas. I just feel that we could ALL work on our attitudes where the good of our community is concerned.

As far as you and I, were cool.

I don't need a built T56, and if you can find me a rebuilt one or even a used one in the $600-800 range (what I can get a rebuilt T45 for) I'll send you a $50 thank you and use a T56...
 
So everything physically fit with the swap? No mods to the tranny tunnel were necesary?

How well did the shifter line up with the interior lay out?

A manual trans would definetly be awesome. I don't like all the unknowns with an auto when something goes wrong. With a manual if you go to shift and theres no gear you know exactly what wrong....
