4R70W from '99 Mustang fitment?

I just bought a built 4R70W to swap into my '98 LSC. It has a pretty cool history and the guy I bought it from had lots of pictures from the project. The trans. was featured (kinda) in Muscle Mustangs And Fast Fords Magazine under Project Silver Stealth. Link:

The question I have is will I need to do any customizing to make this fit or will it bolt right in? I saw some custom work on the Flex Plate in "right on the mark's" converter post. Transmissions are more than I usually want to deal with, but I couldn't pass up the price on this one.

What year is your car again?

If its a 98, and the plug coming out of your trans, the MAIN electrical plug is black then it is a bolt in deal... as long as it has a converter with the 11.25" bolt pattern, which is easily figured out if you drop your other trans and just see if the converter out of that trans fits.
