405 engine code 06 Lincoln ls

Hi everyone im having a problem with my 06 Lincoln ls i just replaced the egr valve because i was getting a bad map sensor code and was told to replace it well that code went away now im getting a 405 engine code

Please post the complete code if you want real help. It will be five characters. I can guess that you mean P0405, but maybe you mean U1405 instead, for example.
You didn't buy and aftermarket EGR valve did you? (If you did, then P0405 is a known issue and you need the factory valve.)

Sorry y es Its p0405 and i didnt get a factory egr valve but i also didnt go with the cheapest

If you don't know where the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve is how did you replace it?

It's right next to the thing you replaced. There was a translation issue somewhere. It is the same thing.

You really can't miss it. The OEM valve is only $110. 3W4Z-9D475-AC
Also, the hard vacuum lines that attach to the EGR assembly and the fuel pressure sensor can get very brittle and break if you just look at them wrong, let alone disconnect and reconnect them.

I'd post an illustration of where it is, but honestly if you have to ask you probably shouldn't be the one to replace it. It's not too involved, that it is a pain and it is easy to damage the parts near it.

6R8Z-9D475-AA is the replacement part number. If you order 3W4Z-9D475-AC, you will most likely get 6R8Z-9D475-AA. Either part number is valid and works just the same.

Yeah I was checking for some cross reference numbers earlier.

BTW where did u find that p/n and price?

Summit has an even lower price in the 80's states it OEM Ford also. Surprised me a bit actually.
