4.10 Gears

Any 8.8" ring and pinion would work. Motive's are good. I would suggest Ford Racing parts, though. Just my preference.
 
If you buy Ford Racing gears they are just re badged Motive IX gears. The Motive IX gears are exactly the same as the gears you linked except they are a little bit lighter. Get your gears from americanmuscle.com, free shipping. The SCT tune unfortunately can't change the speedo for you, that feature is only avaliable on 1999+ vehicles. With a gen 2 you really won't have a problem with the speedo being off when you do gears like with a gen 1. Don't forget you need a trac-loc unit to go along with the gears if you want to hook up off the line. Hope that helps.
 
sell you my diff aluminum 8.8 new seal's, bareing's, ring(4.10:1), pinion and 28 spline posi, it was all replaced except the houseing itself, less the 2500 miles on it. NO NOISE!!! built last summer

crashed the car and I want to have a 3.73:1 posi rear built.

GMAN, you are most likely going to need a MMX driveshaft, to help w/ the vibration issue of those gears.
