3rd to 2nd in SST.. Does this sound right?

Yeah but SST or straight auto, its still the same transmission. It still shifts the exact same way regardless of which shifting method you have.

Yeah I know but some people are saying they shift perfect but they aren't talking about down shifts. That is what my question pertained to. Not the fact that we are talking of SST in general but which way we are shifting:)

the downshift sucks, and i dont know who tuned the LS thats supose to have the SCT but my car has an dyno tuned SCT and i can scratch 2to3 and 3to4th

I know we are talking about 3-2, but in SST mode mine will chirp the tires going from 1-2 if it is near redline.

Mine does it on just the right days, sometimes out of second-third and I dont red line but get pretty high. But its rare and I tried to explain to myself why it may happen but I cant pin point it. I know its just a fluke like good weather or good gas that day or something. So far I have just the intake kit ( full kit ) and the magnaflow exhaust.

Im glad I can share this now without looking nuts.:p :D

theres a certain way to shift this car correctly.. its subtle and very.... anyone figured it out to make it feel right when it shifts? i dont know why i cant just drive the damned thing and let it shift like a normal car.. damn comps ruin everything... or make things perfect?

i ball in my ls on the backroads...havent really noticed the stall...what about shift kits and stall converters?...lightweight flywheels?....

I've noticed that when I turn off the traction control it seems to shift better than when on. You guys might want to try that. By the way i added the SST to 05 V-6 and it has worked since day one, it even shows SST on the dash.
