i have a 2nd gen ls and just installed an avic f90bt,,, the shop painted the bezel but it does not match at all. is there anyone out there that has painted the bezel to match if so what paint did you use?? thanks and yes i have searched

The one I got from Ray was painted. It's a little off, but not that noticeable. Maybe send him an email or something..?

OEM is the way to go on that one.

IIRC that piece is the same color on the Gen2 no matter what color your interior is (black, tan, or gray). I got mine from a member here and it was exactly the same color as my console. I've never seen another color than the silver on the Gen2.... the Gen1 was black I think.... but did they come with navi?

Anyway, give us a pic nV.

i used dupli-color import paint, seatle silver. its not perfect but its damn close. its more the glossy finish that makes it "not perfect". i just painted the vents above the radio and the ash tray and shifter bezel (mostly becaue the ladie that owned it before me had finger nail scratches all over) to match,

Yes Gen1 is black Gen2 is silver whether you have navi or not. The problme is the double din aftermarket kits only come in black so they don't match the rest of the dash.

go to lskoncepts and get the oem navigation double din bezel. Its like 60 bucks but its perfect..... I'd want it to be original

ok i used the seattle silver its an ok match thanks man... also i painted the inside edge of bezel a gloss black .. i think that the unit sits too far back on the ls and seeing the silver on the inside edges looks tacky.. so it was painted black and blends in beautifully and makes the unit look more at home rather than out of place. i will try to post pics soon ....
