245/45/17's on 2003 LS?

Thanks for the reply.

They're used Pilots for sale on my local Mustang board.

Wondering about the 245 on a 7" rim, now, though. Might buldge and be "soft" in corners?

Well the LS isn't the stiffest cornering car, but mine do not buldge at all. Sorry I don't have any pictures to show, if it wasn't dark i'd take a couple.

I run them now. A more pooular size than 235 for sure and a lot cheaper. You might as well just get some new ones. There are so many more to choose from at really good prices.

245's no prob at all.

No prob here! Check my profile. I'm running a set of ContiExtermeContacts, much better traction.

The 245/45/17 is an optional, Lincoln approved size for the LS.

I know the 245's will fit the stock 17" wheels, but can you squeeze a 255 wide tire on the stockers? I have the chrome 8 spoke wheels with the little square detail at the end of each spoke.

I have plenty of clearance, only thing is they might start bulging around the rim.

Yup. I run 255/45s on mine and they fit great.
