Hello everyone...My name is Brad, I have done alot of custom cast & billet wheels for the Tbird, MarkVIII & Cougars. We run a website called "The Custom Wheel Shop" (www.thecustomwheelshop.com)

Soooo...I am putting together a new wheel option I thought could possibly a good wheel option for the LS owners as well as the formentioned. I just wanted to probe with respect to interest as well as offset preference.

Right now I am looking at making this wheel in Chrome, 5-4.25 BP w/+36MM offset...

Price on the wheel would be approx. $245ea shipped free anywhere in the L48

Any input is welcomed. My email is cudaz101@yahoo.com

Cheers,

Brad

wow...cool...i'd say as much offset as you can squeeze in there...you can even test them out on mine...but seriously...as much offset as possible...then we can roll the fenders and get some more lip...

In the little research I have done with the LS it seems that +40 - +45mm is the most desirable with a 8.5" width wheel. I could do that but then it would end up being an exclusive wheel for the LS instead of multi-fit for the MarkVIII, Tbird & Coug as well.

Depending on the interest shown it could be considered.

Cheers,

Brad

My buddy has a set of your wheels on his Tbird and I really like them. I was looking for y2k Cobra R's for my LS over a year ago, unfortunately, I gave up my search and settled for Helo Slicks with a 42mm offset.

IMHO you should also do other sizes like for instance 19X8.5 front and 19X9.5 rear which is the size that im looking because 20's here in Puerto Rico because of the big holes on the streets its a big NO NO!!

I think some of you are missing the point... he's not making made to order wheels... he's looking at a wheel that would have universal fitments; otherwise his market would be too small to make it worth production. So you can't expect him to make you a 19x38.5" wheel with 45.82938 offset. Why? Cause about the only person that would want it is you! He'll make one that will work with the LS and a couple other models... if you don't like the dimensions; dont' order it.

I want my wheels to be to my exact specification down to the nanometer, or I am not buying.

In other news, I really like that CobraR wheel. But like with other thread, I have to decline because I HAVE NO MONEY. Capitalism is ruining my life.

It would not be out of the question to build a wheel specifically for the LS but I would need more interest and suggestions. An organized GP might be a good idea just to get the ball rolling..??

I could do a 20X8.5 CobraR or Bullet in chrome or paint w/+45mm offset & 5-108 BP. Would need say 7 GP buyers to pull that off. Anyone that wants to step up to the plate lemme know.

Cheers,

Brad

Good luck... I highly doubt you'll get 7 people. Even though it would be nice to see!

they look pretty good but i would like to see them on a actual ls before even considering doing anything.

down to the nanometer huh?...wow...thats cutting it pretty close...have you seen the crazy offset the japanese vip tuners run?...they get down to millimeters from the fender...

I snagged these from our Next Wheel Software. You can visit our website and on the homepage there is a link that will let you view our wheels on your car. Have a look if ya like. Its a nifty lil tool...Uses Java so you have to do some setup in order to run the program, but its basic stuff.

The CobraR's & Y2K Cobra wheels are only up to 18" on the next wheel program so you have to use your imagination a bit I guess. The Bullet however is a virtual 20" photo from our next wheel software.

So maybe if we change this up a lil bit....Might need to start a thread Poll of sorts though.

Could do any of the following for the LS specifically.

20X8.5 CobraR
20X8.5 Bullets
18X8.5 Y2K SVT Cobras
17X8 Bullets

Please speak up...:)
