Replacing the battery in the trunk thats dead. I watched a video that said after replacing the battery a scanner had to be hooked up and reset? The dealership mechanic said he's never heard of doing that. Should i replace it and see what happens or take it to a dealer and get overcharged? 2014 lincoln mkz hybrid.
