2006 Signature Limited subwoofer replacement

I have a 2006 Signature Limited with the Soundmark system. Has anyone upgraded and replaced just the subwoofer speaker while leaving the factory enclosure? If so...what brand and model was used, and was there any issues at all with install and compatability? I believe it's a 6 1/2". Thank you so much
