2005 LS Thumping noise in rear cycles with speed

We have a 2005 LS w/35K that has begun this thumping noise in the rear, the sound cycles with the rotation of the tire, you can hear the noise badly when you depress the gas, and the noise dissappears when you accelerate? This accours at all speeds.I looked under the vehicle, but nothing visually seamed out of place. Also internet searches have turned up nothing. Has anyone run into this?

A lug nut came off the rear tire while driving, getting a new lug nut and made sure all were tight solved issue.
