Short story but my wife hit a deer and I need passenger fender, hood, right headlight assembly, and bumper cover. The closest parts yard has a 2002 but doesn't know if parts are interchangeable. Any advice?

Most body panels are interchangeable. The headlights are too, except for the difference of halogen or HID.
The bumper cover may be slightly different between the Gen 1 and the Gen 2.
You could always take the small parts with you to compare mountings.
You may need more than the bumper cover, if the bumper itself has hidden damage.

The bumper cover and headlights are different between generations. You could make it work, but it won't look exactly right and you'll have to change both headlights. The hood is different too (if nothing else, the windshield washers). I'm not sure about the fender. It might be the same.
