My 04 with 85,000 started making a grinding noise last night. We were backing up out of driveway and it made the noise twice. About 50 yards further, after proceeding through a stop sign at about 25 - 35 mph, it started again. We drove 2 miles into town, vehicle sat for about 30 minutes. Noise started again from stopping point and continued becoming louder when we approached 50 - 55 mph up an incline. We immediately slowed down and the noise diminished slightly. It appears to be associated with speed. No hesitation in the vehicle movement and nothing could be felt through the steering wheel or the floor. Welcome any suggestions or comments. Thank you.
