2004 Lincoln LS V8 Broken Seat

Hello Everybody,

I've seen lots of posts about the broken plastic part on the back of the driver seat. But that's not my issue I don't think. Since I've bought the car back in August 2017, the driver seat slouches back and to the right. Temporarily, I've put an old protein powder jug between the back seat and the driver seat to keep it sitting upright (Hey! It works). Anybody know what could possibly be wrong, and/or have a suggested fix for the issue?

The manual says that a new front seat backrest frame must be installed. I'd look in a u-pull type junkyard for the whole seat. They don't charge too much for them here. You can transfer your seat covers to the replacement seat. There's a thread on here about how to do the seat bottom. The seat back should be similar.
