I have a Lincoln Aviator that this past summer had a new ATK engine installed.. I have no heat but the engine is getting to temp according to the guage on the dash. It will blow warm air while moving but soon as the RPMs get below 1,000 I have no heat.. HELP! its 5 actual temp here in Michigan!

I had a new thermostat installed with the new engine..but I bet the mechanic put in a autozone special.

I dont think its the blend door which I know is very common

I recently replaced my heater core for my rear and that fixed my heat. The rear was a easy fix. Not if alias with the front.

Ended up being a air bubble in the system. there is a metal plug that takes a 1/4 socket drive to loosen.. I blew into the radiator until fluid came out and then tighened it up.. Great heat now

the metal plug is almost directly in front of the engine on a metal coolant line that comes from the engine... Cant miss it
