2003 THX CD changer problem

I have a 2003 LS with the THX 6-disc/Navigation. The CD changer has completely stopped working. Whenever I try to do anything related to CDs I get a CD Error. When I drop the face down it won't go back up unless I push it up myself. I did the self-test, it returned no errors (despite the words CD Error in the top left corner). I tried pulling the fuse, all that did was reset my clock. Anyone got any ideas besides buying an aftermarket unit?

I had the same problem with my 06, except that the issue came and went. It took two or three trips to the dealer before they finally replaced the head unit. I've had no problems with it since then.

You might look into getting an iPOD adapter and using that with it instead of the internal CD changer.
